La Squier Contemporary Stratocaster Special apporte des éléments modernes et une esthétique audacieuse à un modèle mythique de Fender afin de combler les guitaristes les plus exigeants et téméraires. Au cur de cette guitare se trouve un jeu de micros Squier SQR à simples bobinages et aimants AlNiCo positionnés dans une configuration ”spéciale”, puisque le micro central est placé près du micro chevalet afin de produire une palette unique de sons particulièrement dynamiques. Le manche en érable torréfié a été choisi pour son timbre et sa stabilité exceptionnels ; de plus, son talon profilé vous permet d’accéder facilement à la 22e case. Des éléments hautes performances complètent la liste des caractéristique de la guitare, notamment un chevalet avec vibrato à 2 points permettant de réaliser des bendings tout en profitant d’un toucher optimal ; et des mécaniques scellées présentant des axes fendus pour faciliter l’accordage et le changement des cordes.
